    • "God so loved the world," John 3:14-21 March 15, 2018
Gods love surpasses human boundaries God loves real sinners Such love in Christ is not bound or conditioned by mans response nor least of all dependent on it Gods love is unconditional as is seen Christ who died for all sinners That not all believe is not due to Gods lack of love but to mans rejection and disbelief

Why should I go to church?

The Lord would have His people be where He is.  So Jesus says, “Where I am, there My servant will be” (John 12:26).  Many do indeed go to church, but for all the wrong reasons—to be seen by others, “that’s where I was baptized, confirmed, and married,” to feel good about themselves, etc.  But the real reason for attending God’s house is to hear His Word, to receive the forgiveness of sins, and to partake of Christ’s body and blood in the Lord’s Supper (Matt. 26:26-28; 1 Cor. 10:16).  He who is of God hears God’s words (John 8:47).  He who does not is not of God.
